Privacy policy
Salon Consultant is currently in an early pilot period. This page explains plainly what we collect, how it’s used, and what we never touch. It will grow into a full legal policy before public launch, but the commitments below hold now.
What we collect
- Your account email and password, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase).
- The client roster you choose to import from your Vagaro Customers Report: names, contact info, last visit date, amount paid, and points earned.
- Service notes and details you add yourself, including anything you tell the AI consultant about a client (preferences, allergies, formulas, and similar).
- The monthly business numbers you enter (rebooking rate, retention, average ticket, revenue) and any revenue goal you set.
What we never collect
Credit card numbers and bank account numbers are filtered out at the moment you import your Vagaro report and are never stored, even if your export file contains them.
How it’s used
Your data powers your own dashboard and AI consultant only. Every stylist’s account is isolated at the database level, so no other stylist using Salon Consultant, including other pilot testers, can see your clients, notes, or numbers.
Who else sees it
Two service providers process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication) and Anthropic (the AI model behind your consultant chat and monthly report narratives). We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
